health care costs. The McMaster Antimicrobial Research Centre (ARC) seeks to provide
excellence in research and innovation in the areas of basic and applied health
science that impact positively on the causes, control and amelioration of infectious
diseases. Expertise in the group spans the disciplines of Chemistry, Biochemistry,
Molecular Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Drug Discovery and Infectious Disease
Medicine and researchers in the group have interests in virology, bacteriology
and the biochemistry of fungi. The vision of the ARC is to establish and maintain
