Situated minutes from Campus, Westdale Village offers many of the necessary amenities one requires day by day. Catering to University Students, Westdale has small cafes, a grocery store, movie theatre, a pharmacy, walk-in clinic, hair salons, as well as multiple banks to choose from. If you were planning to live off campus, the Village provides an extensive choice in accommodations. Everything from rooms, houses, and apartments are available for rent. Westdale Village also boasts an excellent hub for recreation. It borders a ravine that contains many excellent hiking/running/biking paths that loop or lead to the lake. Recently built, a paved, lit path now runs roughly 3.2km along the waterfront connecting Westdale with Hamilton Harbour. This is a great place to walk, run, bike, or Inline Skate. Bus service is constant through Westdale allowing you to get from Campus to downtown Hamilton in roughly 15-20 minutes.
