- Penny wars boosts health sciences scholarship
In 2010/2011 the BHSc (Honours) Scholarship Committee in collaboration with BHSc (Honours) students have raised (to date) $2,373.36 towards the BHSc Scholarship. - BHSc Global Health Specialization receives approval from Undergraduate Council and Senate for 2011/12.

- BHSc student publication titled: Choose Your Own Inquiry, August 2008, University Press of America, ISBN 0-7618-4092-3
- Global Health Specialization currently being developed with the first course being offered in September 2008.
- Biomedical Sciences Specialization will provide students with the option of concentrating their studies in biomedical research.

- In response to the success of the program and extraordinary demand, the B.H.Sc. (Honours) Program accepts 160 students. The educational (pedagogical) models that we use are built on frequent contact with instructors and small class size. Learning is a contact sport.
