Academic Interests
Professor Julian's strengths in research relate to the design and analysis of clinical trials, cohort studies, and case-control investigations. He has considerable expertise in the areas of modelling of epidemiologic data, meta-analysis, registry design, record linkage, quality control, laboratory data analysis, and exposure compliance testing. Jim’s statistical interests currently are non-inferiority designs, and the analysis of longitudinal and correlated data in clinical trials.
