Every year, over 200,000 people in the Hamilton region receive treatment in our four Emergency Departments and Community Health Centre by one of our 60 Emergency Physicians.

To enhance clinical care the Division is active in developing continuing professional development that focuses on knowledge transfer – taking the best

evidence published in the literature and bringing it to the clinical decision making process for the best patient care.
