Research and Clinical Interests
Clinical Interests include the development and implementation of clinical care paths in the delivery of emergency care to reduce the possibly of error and increase the standardization and quality of care.
Educational Interests include the teaching ethics using the complex
context of emergency medicine; faculty development in presentation
skills, teaching in the emergency environment, effective use of teaching
tools; planning curriculum and instruction and the examination of strategies
for improving teaching and learning at the university level and practicing
clinician.
Current Activities
As the Division Director for Emergency Medicine, Dept of Medicine, my goals are to develop a new organizational structure that integrates the expanding number and size of our educational activities in conjunction with the Division of Emergency Medicine, Dept of Family Medicine.
