Health Sciences Graduate Studies

Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences Graduate Studies website. The Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University offers five distinct research-oriented graduate programs each leading to a M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree.

• Medical Sciences
• Health Research Methodology
• Nursing
• Rehabilitation Science

For those interested in a combined MD/PhD degree, areas of study are currently available in the graduate programs of Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, Health Research Methodology, Biomedical Engineering, and Neuroscience.

• MD/PhD Program

Two professional course-based programs are also offered at the Master's level. They are:

• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy

Graduate diploma programs are also available in Advanced Neonatal Nursing, Health Services and Policy Research and Water Without Borders.

Six collaborative graduate programs are offered in conjunction with Health Sciences and other faculties:
