The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program is a collaborative laboratory service between the Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario.

The microbiology program is one of the five disciplines of the HRLMP.
Presently there are two microbiology laboratory sites;
the Hamilton General Hospital site at 237 Barton St. East and St. Joseph’s Healthcare site at 50 Charlton Avenue East.

The microbiology laboratory program provides services to many healthcare facilities in Hamilton and Southwestern Ontario, including Niagara and St. Catherine region.

We have a team of medical, PhD microbiologists and technical specialists working closely to develop and implement innovative microbiology diagnostics, including advanced molecular techniques.
