Dr. Bashar Alolabi — The COA's 2015 NATF Fellow

alolabiMacOrtho is pleased to announce that Dr. Bashar Alolabi has been selected as the Canadian 2015 NATF fellow. Dr. Alolabi will tour various centres in Canada and the US in October of this year along with four American fellows selected by the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Dr. Alolabi currently practices at the Hamilton General Hospital, with subspecialty interests in trauma and upper extremity. He has a strong commitment to clinical outcomes research and upper extremity biomechanics.

The North American Traveling Fellowship (NATF) Tour is one of the AOA's flagship tours. The NATF promotes significant clinical and scientific exchange and fellowship. The tour is an intense introduction to the diverse ways that leaders address challenges facing orthopaedics today. The tour runs approximately five weeks and travels to regional orthopaedic centers in the US and Canada, rotating the region to be visited.
