Faculty Spotlight: Bill Ristevski

Published: July 6, 2012

Dr. Ristevski became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2009. Following this, he completed two fellowships at the University of Toronto, focused on trauma and upper extremity reconstruction. Coming on staff recently, his goals are to continue a practice focused on orthopaedic trauma and its late sequelae. He is excited about becoming further integrated into the McMaster orthopaedic community and is looking forward to collaborating with colleagues to pursue research goals centered on the care of the patients with musculoskeletal injuries.

He currently resides in Kilbride with his wife and 2 young boys. His family is in the restaurant and jewelry business. Downtime is often devoted to the businesses where he serves as the primary taste tester, completely unofficial sommelier and occasional model maker. Prying away from these obligations he can sometimes be found following a F1 race or soccer match.
