FHS Research Plenary Award Winners

MacOrtho would like to congratulate the winners of 3 awards at the McMaster Faculty of Health Sciences Research Plenary. This event is an annual celebration of research achievements of McMaster Faculty of Health Sciences graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. The research plenary took place over three days on May 14-16 and featured over 140 oral and poster presentations by students and fellows in all FHS programs.

Dr. CJ Foote, PGY3, was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award for the International Orthopaedic Multicenter Fracture Study (INORMUS).

Kim Madden was awarded the Best Poster Presentation Award for the Prevalence of Intimate Partner Violence in Orthopaedic Fracture Clinics (PRAISE): A Multicentre Prevalence Study.

Nasir Hussain was awarded the Entrepreneur and Innovation award for OrthoEvidence.

Congratulations again to all for their excellent projects! Dr. Bhandari shared a few words about the award winners below,
