Dr. Gerard Slobogean is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at McMaster University. Dr. Slobogean completed his medical training and orthopaedic residency training at the University of British Columbia. Next, he obtained a Masters of Public Health degree in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard School of Public Health. He continued his training with a fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and a Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Trauma fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
Currently, Dr. Slobogean is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. His research areas of interest include large multi-centred trials, hip trauma and conditions, and upper extremity trauma.
