Dr. Heather Brien has been practicing community orthopedics in Oakville since 2000. After completing her medical degree and Orthopedic undergraduate training at Memorial University of Newfoundland she went on to subspecialty training at the University of Western Ontario in both Adult Reconstruction ( Arthroplasty) and Hand and Upper Limb. She is interested in both upper and lower extremity arthroplasty with a special focus on the elbow and wrist. She is enthused with the new program changes in the Orthopedic department and is happy to participate in the teaching role.
Dr. Brien and her husband live in Oakville with their two daughters, two cats, and one horse.
