Kevin Chan is a fourth year Orthopaedic resident at McMaster. He is currently enrolled in the Health Research Methodology program that leads to a Masters of Science degree. His research interests are in disorders of the upper extremity. Under the supervision of Drs. Joy MacDermid and Olufemi Ayeni from McMaster, as well as Dr. George Athwal from Western University, Kevin is currently looking at different forms of postoperative rotator cuff therapy. In collaboration with Drs. Ken Faber and Graham King from Western University, Kevin is also evaluating treatment outcomes after terrible triad/anteromedial coronoid fractures and surgical results with a novel total elbow arthroplasty implant in rheumatoid patients. After residency, Kevin hopes to pursue additional subspecialty training in upper extremity.
