Four MacOrtho residents participated in the 21st Annual Paris to Ancaster bike race on April 27, 2014 - Colm McCarthy, Nathan Evaniew, Adrian Kurz, Leon Van der Watt …and Dr. Kwok made a surprise appearance to cheer them on at the finish line! None were competitive in their age categories, but they all rode hard and had a blast!

Inspired by the classic Paris to Roubaix race in northern Europe, the Paris to Ancaster has taken place for the past twenty years over the roughest farm lanes, trails and gravel roads. Combined with unpredictable spring weather and the largest field of riders assembled in Canada, it has become a classic race experience for everyone from average riders to Canadian Olympians.
