Dr. Marie-Claude Leblanc obtained her medical degree from Université Laval in 2009. She subsequently completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Université Laval from 2009 to 2014. During her residency, Dr Leblanc participated actively in a number of research projects and received an award for her work on the impact of the learning curve on implant placement quality in total knee arthroplasty in 2012.
In parallel with her studies, Dr. Leblanc served as a reserve Medical Technician in the Canadian Forces. She also enjoys various sports and physical activities, including weight lifting, cycling, cross-country skiing and rock climbing.
Dr. Leblanc is currently undertaking a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine with Dr. Olufemi Ayeni.
