Resident Spotlight: Thomas Wood

Dr. Thomas WoodTom is a PGY-2 resident in McMaster University’s Orthopaedic Surgery program. Originally from Richmond Hill, he graduated from York University’s Kinesiology program and went on to medical school at McMaster University.

Tom has been fortunate to be part of a variety of research projects including open fracture care, metastatic bone disease, and extensor tendon injuries. Currently, Tom is on a research block working with Dr. Petrisor examining fracture care across Canada.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing sports, especially golf, tennis, and swimming. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his fiancé.
