Dr. Jaydeep Moro is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at McMaster University. Dr. Moro obtained his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree at the University of Toronto. Subsequently, he trained in orthopaedic surgery as a resident at McMaster University. Next, he completed an upper extremity fellowship at the University of Western Ontario and a fellowship in sports and shoulder at Toronto Western Hospital.
He teaches surgical skills labs at local, provincial, and national institutes and supervises the research of orthopaedic surgery fellows and residents. Dr. Moro's practice specializes in upper extremity and sports injuries. Dr. Moro's research interests include total shoulder arthroplasty and rotator cuff repair treatments. He is the Clerkship Director for Orthopaedic Surgery and a member-at-large on the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery Executive Committee. Dr. Moro was also the recipient of the 2012 Orthopaedic Surgery Teaching Award as voted by the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine Class of 2012.
