The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to welcome Katherine Rosenwasser to the Centre for Evidence-Based Orthopaedics (CEO). Katie is visiting McMaster this summer to work on several initiatives around intimate partner violence, including a pilot study called PREVAIL which will evaluate the patient perspective on the orthopaedic clinic environment as an open place in which to discuss domestic violence.
Katie received her B.A. in English from Duke University before moving out to San Francisco, CA to work for Google as a Policy Specialist for AdSense, a publisher facing advertising product. She then returned home to New York City and is currently a 4th year medical student at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and intends to apply for residency in Orthopaedic Surgery this fall. In her spare time, Katie is an avid sports fan (Go Yankees! Go Devils!) and enjoys running and playing tennis.
