On August 29th and 30th, 2016, members of the Centre for Evidence-Based Orthopaedics (CEO) team joined Dr. Bhandari to share the secrets of our success as a leading research centre with esteemed guest Dr. Daniel Perry.
Mr Perry holds a prestigious NIHR Clinician Scientist award, enabling him to develop research both within Liverpool and nationally. He is employed by the University of Liverpool as a Clinical Senior Lecturer, and is is part of the Institute of Translational Medicine, which has musculoskeletal disease as a core focus. He has a PhD in Epidemiology, focusing on Perthes’ disease of the hip.
In attendance were Mohit Bhandari, Daniel Perry, Michelle Ghert, Kim Madden, Taryn Scott, Silvia Li, Kerry Tai, Tahira Devji, Chris Smith, Tristiana Dalchand, and Nadia Dalchand. Members of CEO presented the methodology and updates of their ongoing projects, reviewed major challenges and successes, and considered strategies to implement forthcoming initiatives. Dr. Bhandari thanked the group for sharing their recent projects with Dr. Perry and led a focused discussion of innovative and excellence in orthopaedic research.
