  •  Ryan Coughlin

Dr Ryan Coughlin is born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He graduated from McGill University medical school to pursue his residency in Orthopedics at McGill University. While in residency, he was elected as an Executive Board Member of the McGill Residents Association (ARM), where he served as vice president of the Physicians Resource Committee. Dr. Coughlin has a keen interest in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, and has received multiple research awards for his peer-reviewed publications in the area. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Duke University, where he served as the head team physician for the Riverside high school football team and assistant team physician for the Duke football and basketball programs.
Apart from Medicine, he has played on the Quebec Provincial All-Star baseball team and played Junior hockey at an elite level. On his spare time he enjoys cross-country running.

 
 
  •  Mohammed Nassri

Dr. Mohammed Nassri is the new Sports Medicine Fellow and will be training at MUMC and HGH with Drs. Ogilvie, Peterson, Denkers, and Ayeni. Dr. Nassri is looking forward to his fellowship in Sport Medicine at McMaster University because it will give him the opportunity to learn from his new colleagues and to ultimately become a better surgeon. He is looking forward to getting the best training and expertise, which will expose him to an alternative medical and surgical culture that will enrich his surgical practice, and offer opportunities for research so that he can make a difference in his community back home.
