For the second year in a row, a group of four second-year McMaster University students took home first place prizes in anatomy and physiology at the Canadian University Life Sciences Challenge (CULSC), a competition testing the knowledge of undergraduate teams from across the country.

McMaster's winning team was comprised of Bachelor of Health Sciences students Yung Lee, Mobeen Mubasher, Mithunan Ravindran and Lucshman Raveendran.

This is the second consecutive victory and third straight finals appearance for McMaster BHSc students in those categories at the annual competition hosted by the University of Toronto. The 2016 winners are taking human physiology and anatomy classes with Bruce Wainman and Alex Ball of the anatomy education program.

"The amazing anatomy and physiology program at our university, along with the help of great instructors and TAs, made this moment possible," said Lee.
