The Psychogeriatric Resource Person Group
- This newsletter is published in collaboration with the McMaster Centre for Gerontological Studies. The editorial board is interdisciplinary and interorganizational and the editor is Dr. Margaret Denton, Director of the McMaster Centre for Gerontological Studies. The newsletter is distributed to agencies and organizations in Ontario and across Canada. A theme is selected for each issue and contributors from research, education, practice, and policy are sought to share expertise and insights. Funding for the newsletter is provided by the Office of Gerontological Studies and the R. Samuel McLaughlin Centre for Research and Education in Aging and Health at McMaster University.
- After the province-wide PIECES training for Long Term Care, monthly meetings have been arranged to provide on-going opportunities to network, share educational resources, and collaborate around current clinical issues.
