Academic Biography
Dr. Seaton completed his medical training at the University of West Indies, Kingston Jamaica 1963-69. His internship was at Kingston Public Hospital and then he came to McMaster University to complete a Residency in Medicine and Gastroenterology 1971-75.
He was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine 1975-80, Associate Professor 1980-83 and Associate Clinical Professor 1983 to present. He was Program Director for Medicine 1978-83 and Program Director for Gastroenterology 1980-83. He was Chief of Gastroenterology of the Hamilton Civic Hospitals 1985-88 and Chief of Department of Medicine of the Hamilton Civic Hospitals 1990-97.
Clinical Interests
General Gastroenterology, GI Endoscopy including ERCP, Nutrition Support and Colon Cancer Screening.
