Mary Peat earned her medical degree at McMaster University in 1980, and completed her fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1986.
She runs a private Geriatric Medicine practice out of the Westmount Medical Clinic and provides in-patient care at the A-1 Psychogeriatric Unit at St. Joseph Hospital Mountain site (formerly known as Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital).
She is the current coordinator for educational rounds for the Division of Geriatric Medicine at McMaster University.
