There are many opportunities for funding for medical and other learners to to do research with members of the Division of Geriatric Medicine.

The Office of Integrated Research Services is pleased to announce its bi-annual call for the upcoming New Investigator Fund Competition, the deadline for application submissions is March 31st, 2009 at 4pm.

The funding for research programs is available in the following categories:

  • Children's Health
  • Diabetes
  • Environmental & Occupational Health
  • Heart Research
  • Mental Health
  • Pain Management

We are pleased to announce that we will once again have summer students available for work placements. This will be entirely funded by HHS. If you are interested in having a summer student work with you over the summer, the deadline for your application is February 27th, 2009.

Medicine Clinician Investigator Program Funding Award – Terms of Reference

Purpose of an Award
To promote the training of career scientists within Medicine through McMaster’s Clinician Investigator Program (CIP).  This award is intended to provide  encouragement for internal medicine and its subspecialty residents to pursue research training during or immediately following Royal College Residency Training.
