Education and Professional Standing

Dr. Ahraaz Wyne completed an undergraduate degree with Honours in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Western Ontario. He subsequently completed medical school and Internal Medicine core residency training at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentisry, and London Health Sciences Center in London, ON. Dr. Wyne pursued further fellowship training in General Internal Medicine at McMaster University and completed a year of specialization in Obstetrical Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital at the University of Toronto.

He is currently an active medical Staff member of the Hamilton Health Sciences and Assistant Professor of Medicine at McMaster University. His work involves attending on the clinical teaching inpatient units, specializing in the management of complex multi-system disease in hospitalized adults, while supervising and teaching medical trainees. Dr. Wyne also sees patients planned for upcoming surgery, for optimization of their comorbidities. He has an outpatient practice dealing with medical complications in pregnant patients and also attends on the Obstetrical Medicine inpatient consult service at McMaster University Medical Center.
