Research Interests

As a Hematologist, Dr. Trus provides service through the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program. He is also actively involved in the Undergraduate (M.D.) and Postgraduate Medicine Educational Programs.

Dr. Trus' research interests include investigating the role of aberrant gene expression in the pathogenesis acute myelogenous leukemia and therapeutic measures that restore normal gene expression in this disease.
