Research Interests

Dr. Lee's current research interests include: optimal laboratory methods of diagnosis and treatment of Clostridium difficile–associated diarrhea; refining microbiologic diagnosis of sexually transmitted diseases; and, diagnosis and management of nosocomial infections (intravenous catheter infections, ventilator-associated pneumonia). She is currently the Director of the Microbiology Residency Program at McMaster University, and is also a member of the Hamilton Infection Control Committee, and Infections Research Group at St. Joseph's Healthcare.
