Journal Club

The Residents' Journal Club meets every 2 months. The Core Program Journal Club is organized by the residents with input from the Program Director and Faculty. They are held after hours at St. Joseph's Hospital and the Program Office assists with coordinating Faculty participation, room bookings and funding for catering. Dates and times will be posted.

Format:

  • 5:30 pm Dinner served
  • 6:00 - Journal Club Chairs - Welcome and Introduction
    Content Specialist (Faculty) - short didactic lecture/background relevant to articles reviewed
  • IM R1/2 - Case Scenario
    IM R1/2's - Summary and Analysis of Article #1
    IM R1/2's - Summary and Analysis of Article #2
  • Methodologic Expert/Content Specialist Faculty - lead discussion
  • Approx. 8:00 pm wrap-up.
