Clinical Service

Obstetrics and Gynecology services in the city of Hamilton are divided between three sites: the McMaster University Medical Centre (MUMC), the Juravinski Cancer Center (JCC) both part of Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare (SJH). There are Clinical Chief positions for each HHS and SJH, both of whom work closely and on an ongoing basis with the Department Chair around all faculty issues.

There are four clinical divisions and one basic science division within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology:

1. Gynecologic Oncology
2. Maternal Fetal Medicine
3. Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
4. Urogynecology
5. Reproductive Biology (Basic Science)

In addition, several faculty work in general obstetrics and general gynecology.
