Dr. Bojana Babic joined the Division of General Pediatrics in 2009 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. She is a consultant pediatrician at McMaster Children’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton and in a community practice in Stoney Creek. Dr. Babic completed her pediatric residency training at McMaster University in 2005. Subsequently, in 2008, she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. During her fellowship training, Dr. Babic did research in type 1 diabetes in immigrant children from the Horn of Africa.
Dr. Babic has always been interested in the medical education of health professionals. She is currently undertaking a Master of Education through distance learning at Dundee University in Scotland. Dr. Babic has been the Program Director for the General Pediatric Fellowship since October 2011, is the division’s Education Lead for the Pediatric CTU at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton. She also joined the PG committee as the organizer of the Senior Resident Community clinic in May 2013.
