Ron Joyce Health Centre Rounds take place on Mondays from 12-1pm at 325 Wellington Street North in RJCHC Conference Room 1-014A &B.

Title: "The Journey to Child Health and Hapiness: Parents' Attendance, Participation and Engagement in Children's Rehabilitation Services"

Presenters: Dr. Michelle Phoenix, Post-Doc Fellow, Bloorview Research Institute and CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research

 

Presenter Bio:

  Michelle is a Speech Language Pathologist who completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. She is currently doing a joint post-doctoral fellowship with Bloorview Research Institute with Dr. Gillian King and at CanChild with Dr. Jan Willem Gorter. Her main areas of research are: parent attendance, participation and engagement, family-centred care, ethics, parent stress and resilience.
