Dr. Nathalie Schindler is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital.
Nathalie completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Minor in Psychology from McMaster University. Upon graduation she began a career in nursing, working at McMaster University Children’s Hospital. She later travelled to Sydney Australia to work at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and after a year returned to Canada and joined the team at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital as a pediatric and postpartum nurse.
In 2009, Nathalie completed her MD from McMaster University, Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, and later travelled to the East Coast to take part in the residency program in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Nathalie has an interest in simulations in the emergency department and in prehospital care, and also has a passion for teaching students.
