Postgraduate Medical Education

Overview

The postgraduate medical education programs at McMaster University provides two routes to certification, either through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or The College of Family Physicians of Canada.

In addition to the affiliated teaching hospitals listed, McMaster University has wide access to an extensive number of additional training sites, including rural and community settings in both northern and southern Ontario. This spectrum of resources, along with the size of the programs at McMaster, allow programs to tailor your residency program to meet your needs.

Resident Receives PAIRO Teaching Award

Dr. Jessica Collins has been awarded the PAIRO Resident Teaching Award.  The award honours senior residents who provide outstanding clinical teaching to junior housestaff and clerks.  Jessica is in her fourth year of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. The postgrad office staff would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Gulf & Saudi Social Club for hosting a wonderful get together & lunch to mark Saudi National Day on Sept. 23rd.
