Expectations of the Candidate:
1) To develop specialized skills in the assessment and treatment of seniors' mental health difficulties.
2) To gain knowledge and expertise in developing programs for seniors.
3) To participate in research.
4) To contribute to educational endeavors in geriatric psychiatry.

Overall Goals of the Fellowship:
1) To recruit more faculty to academic programs.
2) To recruit more psychiatrists to the field of geriatric psychiatry in order t meet the clinical needs of a growing aging population.
3) To promote development of new knowledge in geriatric mental health.
