Welcome to McMaster University's Department of Radiology Fellowship program.
McMaster University is a world-renowned centre for excellence in clinical care, education and research. Within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Radiology is affiliated with two academic hospital systems which include St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Health Sciences (comprised of Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, and McMaster University Medical Centre). Each site offers a unique learning experience with varied patient demographics and medical specialties. Each site strives to produce highly-skilled radiologists who excel in either an academic or community hospital setting upon completion of their fellowship training.
All Radiology fellowships involve one year of rigorous training with multimodality exposure to your subspecialty area of interest. Beyond clinical duties, fellows are involved in resident and medical student teaching, multidisciplinary rounds and research projects.
Our department attracts enthusiastic collegial trainees interested in expanding their subspecialty knowledge through evidence-based medicine. We work closely with our clinical colleagues to provide the best medical care for our patients, to educate our learners and to serve our community.
Fellowships in the Department of Radiology are available at one or a combination of the following McMaster University centres of excellence:
- Hamilton General Hospital
- Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre (formerly Henderson General Hospital)
- McMaster University Medical Centre
- St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton
Please note that applications are considered two years prior to the fellowship start date. We look forward to receiving your application and we welcome any inquiries, which can be directed to our program assistant Marilynn Scott, scottmar@HHSC.CA. Thank you for considering McMaster University Radiology Fellowship Program.
