Workshop Description:

An overview of the Community-linked Evaluation AIDS Resource (CLEAR) Unit, highlighting the challenges associated with conducting and disseminating communty based research and evaluation. Presenters include committee co-chairs, a committee community member and the CLEAR investigator, all who have been active in either the development of CLEAR or the research being conducted.

The presentation provided an overview of the following topics: historical overview of the development of CLEAR; community perspective on research; researcher perspective on working with the community; CLEAR evaluation findings; working with different languages/cultures; and challenges for the future.
