Clare Freeman, CYW, BA, MSW is the Executive Director of Interval House of Hamilton Women’s Shelter. Ms. Freeman has been involved in social justice issues for women and children for the past 16 years.  She contributes to the project her many years experience examining systemic gender inequality and its relationship to violence against women. Recently, she conducted a qualitative and quantitative gender-based research project examining the economic impact of parenting on women, with a focus on gender inequality in Ontario’s Child Welfare’s foster care program. She will facilitate relationships with community agencies and shelters.
