Amiram Gafni PhD is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics; and a member of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis, The System-Linked Research Unit on Health and Social Service Utilization and the Community-Linked Evaluation AIDS Resource Unit at McMaster University. He contributes to the program his knowledge of economic evaluation of health care programs, modeling of consumers' healthcare behaviour, models of patientphysician decisionmaking, policy analysis and risk and decision analysis in health. He has published widely in the field of economics on topics related to health. He will focus on the economic evaluation, along with Dr. Abernathy.
