Joyce Lock, MD, CCFP(EM), FRCP(C) is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Emergency Medicine at McMaster University and practices Emergency Medicine at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario where she is also the Emergency Department Medical Director.  In addition she is the Medical Director of Nina’s Place, the Halton Regional Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Care Centre.  She will bring this considerable experience to the research program, and is interested in how to best provide appropriate screening and effective interventions for women experiencing domestic violence.  Dr. Lock will oversee the involvement of the Burlington site.
