Daina Mueller, RN, BScN, MSc is a manager for Hamilton Public Health Services with a cross appointment to the School of Nursing at McMaster University.  As a public health practitioner and past chair of the Ontario Public Health Association Violence Prevention Workgroup, she has contributed extensively to the development of Public Health violence prevention initiatives. Her interest is in designing and evaluating public health interventions for violence against women.  She recently completed an M.Sc. degree; her thesis examined the evidence for programs aimed at preventing violence against women.  She will take the lead in overseeing the evaluation of screening in the Hamilton public health settings.
