Anna Marie Pietrantonio, MSW, RSW is a Clinical Specialist with the Child Advocacy and Assessment Program, McMaster Children’s Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences. As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, she provides assessment, consultation and follow-up to children and youth who have experienced sexual assault. In addition, she provides consultation regarding the impact of violence on families. Ms. Pietrantonio holds appointments as Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, and Practice Instructor, School of Social Work, McMaster University. She brings an extensive clinical practice base in family violence and knowledge of the child protection system. She will liaise with child protection agencies in developing approaches to working with women regarding the safety of their children.
