Andrew Worster, MD, MSc is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and an Associate Member of the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University. He is an emergency physician and Research Director of Emergency Medicine at Hamilton Health Sciences, a tertiary care centre with three emergency departments providing level I regional services in regional adult and paediatric trauma, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and cancer care. He is an Associate Editor for ACP Journal Club, and the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine. His research interests include: knowledge synthesis and application to clinical practice, research methods and their application to emergency medicine, utilization and evaluation of screening and diagnostic tests in emergency medicine, quality assessment in emergency medical services.
