May Cohen Lectureship in Women's Health

The May Cohen Lectureship in Women's Health was established in 1997 to honour the dedication and special contributions made by May Cohen to the advancement of women and women's health issues. Dr. Cohen, who retired in 1997, has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the Order of Canada, Persons Award. The founding Chair of the Women's Health Office, Dr. Cohen enjoys a wide reputation for her energy and commitment to promoting women's health issues within the Faculty of Health Science, the local community and internationally.
